Just mix BANANA with COFFEE and you won’t have to spend any more money at the supermarket
Today I’m sharing an incredible tip to make a natural and economical fertilizer using coffee grounds and banana peels. This fertilizer is rich in nutrients and is perfect for revitalizing your indoor and outdoor plants. Follow the instructions to bring your plants back to life without spending a penny!
Ingredients required:
- coffee grounds (about 4 tablespoons)
- 1.5 liters of water
- 3 banana peels (any kind)
- A container with a lid
- A blender or mixer
- A sieve
Preparation steps:
- Prepare the coffee grounds infusion :
- Mix 4 tablespoons of coffee grounds with 1.5 liters of water in a container.
- Stir well so that the coffee grounds mix evenly with the water.
- Cover the container lightly (leave a small opening for breathing) and let it sit in a cool place, such as on top of your refrigerator, for 3 days .
- Add the banana peels :
- After 3 days, the coffee grounds infusion is ready. It will have a strong smell, but that’s completely normal!
- Place 3 banana peels in a blender and then pour the coffee grounds over them.
- Mix for 2 to 3 minutes until a homogeneous and foamy mixture is formed.
- Filter the mixture :
- Strain the mixture to remove any remaining banana peels. These residues could attract ants or cause mold in your plants.
Use :
- Application on plants : Use this liquid fertilizer to water your plants once a week. It is suitable for all types of plants, from orchids to rose bushes and houseplants such as African violets.
- Results : You’ll see your plants come back to life quickly, with greener leaves and more vigorous growth. This fertilizer is rich in nitrogen, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus, important nutrients for plant health.
